This is insane!!!
Dear junkies,
you know, in less than two weeks there’s Christmas Eve and to be honest, I am not even a little bit in the mood for christmas. But that doesn’t change the fact that I found a really cool site today. I have seen lots of things when it comes to christmas decoration, but this one tops it all.
The guys at Wired For Christmas have decorated their house with over 25.000 lights, use over 1.5 miles of lighted strings, 1/2 mile of extension cords, 4.500 cable ties, 4 computer controlled boards, 64 individually controlled channels, a mini-FM transmitter and a dedicated computer to control the whole thing. Man, I don’t want to pay that electricity bill…
If you live near 3 Crowley Court in Raymond, NH, just drive by and tune to the FM station displayed on the sign “Listen to the lights” in front of the house. If you dont’ live nearby (and I guess that’s the case for most of you including myself), someone has managed to record one out of 7 “shows” (which lasts about 3 minutes). Cheers to this great idea!
